Capstone Data operates a satellite-verified solar property intelligence platform serving Australia. We identify Australian properties with rooftop solar, verify that the address is real and mail-deliverable, and attach hail and storm intelligence and area-level household income. We deliver the result as a direct-mail-ready dataset to roofing, solar, battery storage, insurance restoration, home services and direct mail businesses.
This section matters more than any other, so we state it plainly.
Our Australian data product describes properties, not people. A delivered record contains a property address, whether rooftop solar is present on that roof, hail and storm intelligence for that property, and area-level household income. It is addressed to the property, not to a named individual.
What the data is for. It exists for one purpose: to let a business decide which properties are worth an addressed physical mail piece, and to send that mail piece. It is not supplied for, and must not be used for, telephone or electronic marketing, credit or insurance decisions about an individual, tenant or employment screening, debt collection, or any other assessment of a person.
We take this position because unsolicited electronic and telephone marketing to householders is restricted in Australia by the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 (Cth), and APP 7. Physical direct mail is the compliant channel, and it does not require a name.

Capstone Data is operated from the United States, and some of the service providers we use to run our booking, email and hosting systems store data in the United States and other countries. This means that personal information you provide to us is likely to be stored or processed overseas, principally in the United States. By providing your information you consent to that disclosure. We take reasonable steps to ensure our providers handle information in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
We implement industry-standard measures to protect personal information, including TLS encryption in transit, access controls, and use of reputable third-party platforms with their own security certifications. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If we become aware of an eligible data breach that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under Part IIIC of the Privacy Act 1988.
